National Palace Museum 'Qingshui Literary' Painting and Calligraphy New Media Art Exhibition
This exhibition centers around a literary gathering, using a combination of The Poem in Seven-character Verse long scroll corridor and three new media art installations—Spring Birth, Summer Lotus, and A Tour of the Imperial Garden—to recreate a bustling scholar’s garden. In addition, two virtual reality installations, The Spirit of Autobiography and Roaming Through Fantasy Land, and the interactive installation, Stamps of Landscape, immerse visitors in a virtual landscape. Films in 4K resolution playing in the background allow visitors to understand how these painting and calligraphy masters render natural forms with their brush. Together, the exhibition produces a multisensory aesthetic experience of natural landscapes produced by innovative technology.
