2023 Taiwan Emerging Art Awards
For over 20 years, the Taiwan Emerging Art exhibition has promoted unique, avant-garde, innovative artistic creations, attracting talented artists annually to become a landmark art exhibition.
Thanks to its acceptance of submissions without restrictions on media, category and age, Taiwan Emerging Art has attractedartist participants from around Taiwan across
generations, from the 1960s to Millennials. It thereby is able to showcase an abundance of creative passions and diverse artistic expressions. The selected 41 works in this edition demonstrate uniqueness in terms of themes, materials and forms of expression. In this ever-changing landscape, challenges arise in various facets such as natural life, digital technology and humanistic spirit, necessitating careful consideration and response.
Taiwan Emerging Art aspires to become a strong, supportive platform for artists by
providing the main backing and assistance for their creations. This exhibition aims to
showcase the diverse and dynamic facets of Taiwanese art, nurturing and promoting
artistic talent to showcase a variety of artistic expressions and contribute to Taiwan's ever-evolving art landscape.
