The French-Salon Taiwanese Artists Association was founded in 1997 and officially registered in 2003. Its current chairman is Mr. Wang Sheng-ping and its membership consists of Taiwanese artists who have won awards in domestic and international French Salon competitions. Members span various generations of skilled young, middle-aged and older Taiwanese artists, including university professors, major art exhibition judges and top prize winners, all well-known in the art world. The association's goal is to not only cultivate the arts in Taiwan but also actively expand overseas exhibitions with the aim of enhancing international recognition of Taiwanese artists.
