Black Rhythm - Su-Hui Liu’s Ink Painting Solo Exhibition｜Taichung City Seaport Art Center

Ms. Su-Hui Liu, who started creating ink paintings in 2012, has apprenticed with Mr. Mu-Huo He, the master of ink painting in Taichung, since 2014. Sticking to the master’s motto: “Start with the original ink, be brave in painting black, and begin by drawing lines,” Ms. Liu has developed her aesthetics, gradually acquired the skills of using brush and ink, and understood the structural proportions and context of the painting. “Black Rhythm” attempts to show the rich blackness and heavy pigment of the ink color and presents the art creation of “being brave in painting black and layering line strokes.”
