Shun-Tien elementary school’s art-talent class 33th｜Taichung City Seaport Art Center

Having been enlightened on artistic talents for four years, students of Shun-Tien elementary school’s art-talent class not only widened their visions of art and beauty of life but also cultivated their capacity for artistic creation. After absorbing the nutrients from teachers’ artistic irrigation, students showed complete and solid performance in graphic painting, three-dimensional sculpture combination and creative media.

Twenty-four students from graduating class of art talent get involved in the exhibition. It gathers twenty-four students’ whimsical ideas and twenty-four pieces of works from twenty-four pairs of nimble hands. Under the topic “Twenty-Four”, the exhibition contains three themes: images of twenty-four solar terms, spring wind telling the tidings of twenty-four flowers and twenty-four auspicious beasts. There is a total of twenty-four folio paintings, twenty-four installation art and dozens of sketches of sketch, watercolor, Zentangle, fluid art, and composite media. Each piece of work on display is a story. The students merge many elements and information into the works, refreshing, bright and colorful, making people feel happiness while the installation art is very cute and charmingly naïve.

The works of the exhibition are rich in content. With teachers’ guidance, the students learn from each other and the works completely present the results of their hard work and creation. The varied styles and techniques show the students’ rich achievement at school. Hope that viewers can generate associations and resonance with their own lives through the works by participating in this gorgeous aesthetic feast of life and fantasy.
