2023 YEN SHANG-WEN fish rubbing Art Solo Exhibition｜Taichung City Seaport Art Center

Rubbing art originated from ancient Chinese stele rubbing techniques. Mr. Yen Shang-wen transformed the rubbing material into fish, and through the "coloring according to the type" on the paper, the color characteristics of various fish species were presented, and the human’s fish catch records were transformed into a contemporary life aesthetic activities combining painting, fine arts, crafts and marine science. Over the past 40 years, Mr. Yan has organized large-scale fish rubbling art tour exhibitions and parent-child DIY courses in cultural centers in counties and cities throughout Taiwan. The "2023 Yen Shang-wen fish rubbling art solo exhibition" is still attractive, and the public from all over the country is welcome to visit the exhibition.
