Colors and Passions on Palette Knives – Rui-Hu Chen’s Oil Painting Exhibition｜Taichung City Seaport Art Center

Mr. Rui-Hu Chen was born in Tainan and currently resides in Kaohsiung. After his first solo exhibition in 1978, Mr. Chen held more than 480 exhibitions inside and outside the country. Moreover, Mr. Chen won first place both in Nanying Award and Taoyuan Fine Arts Exhibition and second place in National Large Size Oil Painting Exhibition. He was selected for many national art exhibitions as well. The works showcased this time possess the aspects of nature depiction and travel journals, and the realistic paintings of rural scenery are particularly vivid. Mr. Chen describes his spirit for creation as: “Prompted through the process of internalization, only the pulsation with vitality is the true beauty.”
